Jesus worked as a carpenter at an early stage in his life and it's very likely that he used olivewood.

Since the trees are mainly used to harvest olives and for the production of olive oil, the farmers ensure that the trees are not harmed by this olivewood industry. The wood mainly comes from the pruning process and from older unproductive trees.

The Holy Land olivewood is known for the beauty of its grains and variety of coloring. No two olivewood pieces are the same. The grain pattern and elegance of the swirls in the wood are unique to each individual piece.
